This page explains what data the application may process, why it is used, where it is stored, and what options are available to the user.

1. Controller

The controller responsible for this application is its developer, as identified in the public Google Play listing and in the repository where this page is published.

Important: This application is a simulator. Transactions, balances, accounts, cards, and financial products created by the user inside the app are simulated or test data, not real banking data provided by a financial institution.

2. Data We Process

  • Account and login data: Email address, user identifier, and display name associated with Firebase Authentication.
  • Profile data entered by the user: First name, last name, language, date and time format, primary currency, appearance preference, and optional profile photo.
  • Simulated data created inside the app: Accounts, cards, transactions, categories, templates, investments, and other records used for the simulation.
  • Device data required for specific functions: Device identifier, platform, model, and last access date to enforce device limits for Pro accounts.
  • Subscription data (if the Pro version is purchased): Product identifier, purchase token, order identifier, and subscription status provided by Google Play.
  • Locally stored data used to personalize the experience: Preferences, functional cache, and user-generated content created inside the app.

Use of Biometrics

If the user enables biometric access, fingerprint, face, or equivalent verification is handled by the device operating system. The application does not receive or store raw biometric templates. In that mode, login credentials may be stored in the device secure storage to simplify sign-in.

Data Not Normally Requested

The application is not designed to routinely request precise location, contacts, microphone, or camera access. The profile photo is optional and is taken from a file explicitly chosen by the user from their device.

3. How Data Is Used

  • To create and maintain user accounts, enable sign-in, and manage password reset requests.
  • To store the profile, preferences, and content generated inside the simulator.
  • To provide security features such as optional biometric sign-in and control of authorized devices.
  • To manage the Pro subscription, restore purchases, and reflect premium account status.
  • To improve continuity between sessions through local storage and limited synchronization with the backend services used by the app.

4. Third-Party Services

The application uses third-party services when they are necessary for operation:

  • Firebase Authentication for registration, sign-in, and password reset.
  • Cloud Firestore to store user profiles, Pro status, and device records associated with the account.
  • Google Play Billing for purchases, subscriptions, and purchase restoration.
  • Secure device storage for credentials when biometric access is enabled.

Each provider may process certain technical data according to its own terms and privacy policies.

5. Retention and Deletion

  • Local data remains on the device until the user deletes it from the app, clears the app data, or uninstalls the application.
  • Account and profile data stored in Firebase may be kept while the account remains active or as long as necessary to provide the described functionality.
  • Subscription-related data may be retained for the time required to verify Pro status, manage restorations, or handle incidents.

If you want to request deletion of data associated with your account, see our Data Deletion page or use the contact email published in the Google Play listing.

6. Security

Reasonable technical measures are applied to protect information, including user authentication, system-controlled local storage, use of secure device storage for optional biometric credentials, and restricted access to backend services used by the application.

No system is completely infallible, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed. Users should protect their device and their login credentials.

7. Children

This application is not specifically directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal data from children under that age. If a parent or legal guardian believes that a child has provided personal data, they should request review or deletion using the contact channel published for the app.

8. Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated when the application’s features, integrated providers, or applicable legal obligations change. The current version will be the one published at this same URL.

9. Contact

For privacy, access, correction, or deletion requests, use the support email or contact method published in the Google Play listing for Bank Account Simulator.
